In 1999, Scott and Vanessa, newly married, sat side by side competing for the highest grade in Real Estate School as Scott made his transition from military service into the civilian world. The Oates’ have been learning together ever since and have amassed a wealth of knowledge in all things real estate. What started out as the pursuit of home ownership and investment income, became a successful career and way of life for these two. After thorough cleanings, repairs, and some creativity, the duo became better and better at visualizing the end product they could make a reality. This husband and wife team share their love for the community and real estate by transforming neglected properties of all kinds. The list goes on for the types of properties they have worked on together, such as single family, multi family residential, mixed use, historical district properties, waterfront properties, tax credit properties, commercial buildings, shopping centers, strip malls and new construction. This couple has 20 years of funny stories, painful lessons and useful tips for anyone interested in improving a room, a home or a part of town.
Bryan Ramsey

As a native Virginian Bryan learned early on of his unique positioning in the Mid-Atlantic region that provided a vast selection of plant material. This understanding of plant culture has provided the basis for designing gardens across the United States.
Bryan’s extensive design experience provides a wealth of ideas and tricks of the trade. His repertoire includes a list of high-end residential and commercial design utilizing contemporary and rare plantings, distinctive and classic design, garden structures, fencing, gates, follies, etc.
Bryan’s educational background encompasses a dual degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture from the University of North Carolina, studies in Landscape Architecture with West Virginia University and Art and Architecture with Louisiana Tech University in Rome, Italy.
